“I am a Christian Scientist because both my parents were committed Christians whose lives demonstrated what it means to live out their faith. In addition to the example of my parents, I was involved in Christian Science Sunday School – a weekly one-hour session where young people up to age 20 are taught the Bible and the power of prayer. I experienced my first sense of real Christian community here. In college and graduate school, I was inspired by sharing Christian Science. I had the opportunity to bless my friends and community which exists to this day.”
